Inside the Tillamook Farmers' Co-op, a new boutique is offering western wear, but elevated.
The Cowboy’s Closet softly opened June 1, but celebrated their grand opening and ribbon cutting on August 22.

“A lot of our farmers and shoppers also have horses. So, we redid the store this year,” Tillamook Farmers' Co-op Store Manager Laurie Wicker said. “We started out with some western wear basics and then have given it some zhuzh with current brands. It’s been a great way to bring in this lifestyle.”
The Cowboy Closet features items for the whole family with sizes from newborn to 3XL. Brands carried include: Ariat, Hooey, Scully, Bailey Hats, STS Ranch, Lane Boots, Hyer boots and more.
“We have really good, quality brands,” Wicker said. “The community loves it and is excited to have somewhere in Tillamook to get these items.”
Helping to curate The Cowboy Closet is Tillamook Rodeo Queen and Tillamook local Chloe Rieger.
“I wanted to help make a place in Tillamook where people could shop, and for kids to be able to pick up a belt or hat for FFA showings,” Rieger said.
Current FFA and 4H students are offered a 10 percent discount on purchases in the entire store (including The Cowboy’s Closet) as long as their purchase is for showing animals.
“The Farmers' Co-op is more than just a gas station,” Wicker said. “We have so many things and really all the needs for your pets. I think we’re the best stop in Tillamook.”
The Cowboy Closet is open during the Tillamook Farmer’s Co-op’s business hours. To see the latest styles and offerings, follow The Cowboy Closet and Tillamook Farmers' Co-op on social media.
